In fairness, a guy who wasn't willing to play or run hard in the playoffs in his FA year probably wasn't going to pick it up after securing a big deal. This is what he did in 2017, and probably what we'll see going forward. A plus player, but not worth his contract. -

You never know. Maybe they'd fall in love with Tellez and Teoscar or something, but I highly doubt it. As much as I'm laughing while saying that, those two MIGHT actually be a cheap upgrade for them. Speaking of trade targets, Matt Carpenter could be an interesting one. The Cards are playing Edman, who out of the blue decided to play like a 4 WAR player, and I'm pretty sure they're salary contrained. Carpenter is average defensively at 1st and 3rd, and seems like a very good bounce-back candidate.

Lol, Miami is a train wreck. NE defense put up 7 sacks, 4 interceptions, 2 defensive touchdowns, and 0 points against. I don't think I've ever seen a team defense put up 37 points in DFS.
