    I can see that mistake being made and no one noticing. It would also be very easy for the person who said it was a lineup card mistake to have gotten it slightly wrong (ie, he wasn't on the card because he wasn't eligible to be dressed).

    I know it was a cross up, but a major league baseball umpire cannot miss a strike that's square in the middle of the zone.

    I'd like to see Jansen move the glove a little bit less back there. He's trying to frame strikes "better" than they already are, and I think it's confusing the ump.

    Who released it? It seems to me releasing a video of something like that should get the same penalty as he got for doing it.

    As far as I know, MLB initially was using saliva tests which they processed at their own PED lab. Because of testing delays at their own lab, teams were grabbing any lab they could find to process their own tests. I'm pretty sure the NBA and NHL use nasal swabs.

    It sounds like Votto removed himself because he was worried about potentially infecting his teammates.

    I think the other leagues are using a different kind of test that's more accurate. MLB was too busy squabbling about dollars to bother properly securing the testing capability.
