    Looking to put up 81
  2. He would likely be considered an authority figure which raises it to 18
  3. Next person who tells locker room secrets will think twice. That is the main message here. Legit or not it sends the message. And i will repeat my joke from the other thread. At least the garbage cans which the Astros were banging were supposed to be there
  4. Hey Mike, at least the garbage can we were banging was of age! And MLB assures no one else tells it's secrets. It is a f***ing gangster movie.
  5. Oops I read the results for the compensation vote. I'll put myself on the list
  6. Answer is simple. Every manager has the rights to convert their 2021 6th into pick 121 in 2022. Not tradeable of course. It's a little bit of housekeeping but someone that isn't me can do it.
  7. I love the waiver draft, but this is so much easier on the players, commissioners and also should help get us back to being a no turnover league. Let me know who the 6 bitches that voted against are and I'll put them on my list.
  8. They also don't want anything changed. That is the biggest issue. Negativity from announcers is what has to go. The "this is the way it was in my day", and "all this shifting stuff is ruining the game". Basketball is changing huge. The announcers are changing with the game, they leave the past to the guys on the internet to tell why Lebron would have never made it in 1988.
  9. 23 (although the list wasn't out when the trade was made). 17 the year before. He hit above .300 every month and was promoted in late June to the Florida State League, where he slashed .339/.408/.464 with 16 extra-base hits. Franco drew more walks (56) than strikeouts (35) in 114 games, proving once again that the 18-year old’s advanced approach to hitting is well beyond his years. Going to be a terrible cut and paste. 90 Corbincarroll2020headshot Corbin Carroll D-backsOF Notes: ETA: 2022 Final 2019 Ranking: 96 Tools: Hit: 55 | Power: 45 | Run: 70 | Fielding: 60 | Arm: 45 2019 Average Exit Velo: 90 Skinny: A speedy center fielder, Carroll showed off a very discerning batting eye in his pro debut. He has a little pop too, but his ability to get on base, play defense and run is his calling card. He projects to be a plus hitter who can stay at short. A year after signing Julio Rodriguez, the Mariners nabbed Marte, who has speed and power to go with a chance to stay at shortstop (or eventually be a plus defender at third base). As it stands right now, he drives the ball consistently to right and right center. So far it looks like they picked a winner. Davis is athletic, fast and strong and he impressed at the plate in an injury-shortened 2019 season. He dominated low Class A, earned a spot in the Futures Game and pitched for Canada in the Pan-Am Games. Now he just had to prove he can do the same against more advanced hitters. 96 Jhoan Duran Twins RHP Notes: ETA: 2021 Final 2019 Ranking: Unranked Tools: Fastball: 70 | Splitter: 70 | Curveball: 45 | Control: 50 2019 Average Fastball Velo: 97 Skinny: Acquired from the D-Backs in 2018 for Eduardo Escobar, Duran is proving to be an excellent acquisition. His unique "splinker" stands out, but his high-90s fastball is also ferocious. 97 Diego Cartaya Dodgers C Notes: ETA: 2025 Final 2019 Ranking: Unranked Tools: Hit: 55 | Power: 55 | Run: 40 | Fielding: 60 | Arm: 60 2019 Average Exit Velo: 86 Skinny: Cartaya was considered one of the best prospects in the 2018 international amateur class. He’s lived up to every expectation so far. Cartaya has a chance to be a well-rounded catcher who can be both a productive hitter and an above-average defender. 98 Joe Ryan Rays RHP Notes: ETA: 2021 Final 2019 Ranking: Unranked Tools: Fastball: 70 | Curveball: 55 | Slider: 40 | Changeup: 30 | Control: 55 2019 Average Fastball Velo: 92 Skinny: Ryan had an up-and-down college career, which explains how he lasted until the seventh round in the 2018 draft. So far, his pro career has been much more dominating. Ryan’s 92-95 mph fastball was a diabolical dilemma for Florida State League hitters. Now he needs to improve his breaking ball. 99 Sam Huff Rangers C Notes: ETA: 2022 Final 2019 Ranking: Unranked Tools: Hit: 40 | Power: 70 | Run: 40 | Fielding: 45 | Arm: 60 2019 Average Exit Velo: 91 Skinny: Huff had one of the best months in the minors last season. He hit 12 home runs in 23 games in April and impressed with his defense as well. He hit 16 over the final four months of the season and raised some concerns about his contact ability, but he has a chance to be a slugging catcher. 100 Isaac Paredes Tigers 3B Notes: ETA: 2021 Final 2019 Ranking: Unranked Tools: Hit: 55 | Power: 50 | Run: 40 | Fielding: 45 | Arm: 50. 2019 Average Exit Velo: 88 Skinny: Paredes has always been one of the youngest hitters in whatever league he's in. He's always hit. The Tigers are still figuring out where he best fits defensively.

I love Dort. Just a hard working guy.
  22. Players are how the Harold Baines of the world get in.
  23. my issue with the 10 year system is not the process of it, it is the arrogance of the writers. It took 9 years to "convince" 68% of the writers that Walker deserves to be in the hall. These people are supposed to have expertise. Instead it is their chance to be in the spotlight. Completely the opposite of what a Hall of Fame is supposed to be. Rotate the writers. Or create rules where if someone gets in that you didn't vote for, you lose voting rights for a year. Or of course we could just disband the BBWAA as they are just a useless. Maybe throw them a bone and let them choose the Spink award winner.
  24. can we put this to a league vote
