I don't think so. AA is not one to depend on FA's. I'd guess that he is at least discussing Lee. That would bring Buzz back to the team and soften the blow of the fans that love JB

I was just going to add that Kyle Kendrick is a guy that I picture the Jays pursuing.

Former top prospect...AA loves those guys mostly because he's still got 5 year old scouting reports. I think it's somewhat great that the Phils would be doing this move to play Bautista at 3B. Amaro and AA...the great minds of the game.

There appears to be a very direct line drawn in this pool of who values the upside of the unknown (prospects) and who sees value of the known. I somewhat agree with z3r0s that Upton might settle in to be just slightly above average OF prospect...but that doesn't change that there was a market for him. In the end it's about getting the players you want, he appears to have done this

I really think z3r0s should have kept pushing me for Upton. I don't do deals (or anything) quickly but I left my deal with Springer, Lake, Wood and the 10 (asking for the 23 back). I would have added my prospect pitchers (Sims and Graham) easily.

Most untradeable on my prospect list) 3. Lucas Sims 4. Corey Knebel (won't show up on any prospect lists, but he'll be closing in Detroit by the end of next season) 5. J.R. Graham (no shoulder injury and he's probably number 3) 6. Kevin Plawecki (watch my minor league drafts every year and you'll find a Kevin Plawecki, he's my prospect moneyball guy, will crush lefties in the majors, stays low on rankings because some people can't see him as a catcher. Struck out 29 times in 3 years in college, now has walked almost as much as he's K'd in his first two years in the minors. BA ranked him number 5 in the Mets org, up from 22 last year. He's a guy that every MLB team should be targeting as he's behind TdA at catcher and hits the same way. he's got Dom Smith behind him as a potential fast mover at 1B) 7. Chris Anderson (move him from the Dodgers org and I downgrade him) 8. Rob Kaminsky (Cards took a high school pitcher in the first...I took him completely based on that) 9. David Rodriguez (D-Rod the guy that at some point I'll deal or drop and regret for several years later, he's just too young to be owned in this format, so much talent though) 10. Tyler Naquin (I expect him to hit for good average in AA this year, that's the most positive thing I'll say) 11. Tzu-Wei Lin I joke that my system is weak but I really like the guys I have for fantasy ball.

where do you see a veto attempt? I feel I'll be dropping a younger and better pitcher than Morton so I have no issue with the deal

I can see some gamesmanship happening late in games when teams haven't used their appeals

Rays might be willing to take that Bundy guy, but the Rays M.O. has been to trade for mostly close to the majors guys so Gausman might work. I can see them doing a bat and pitcher so Schoop and Guasman maybe.

I can see the Rays wanting a catcher. Bethancourt might be a target and Braves have plenty of arms the Rays would like.
