  1. That's what you want to hear from your GM "holy f***, we're 5 games over .500, didn't see that one coming".
  2. I still like the pitchers they have in AAA to contribute but they really should be shutting down Hutch (or extending him as it's the right thing to do...guarantee him money if you are going to put him at more health risk than he currently is) so they really need to be prepared to replace him too
  3. College guy that makes great contact, will never develop power, and doesn't need a lot of work defensively. If he was from an NCAA powerhouse he'd probably even moved quicker. Spent last year playing on a bad hammy. Very Marco Scutaro'esk and I think he should make the club next year, after a September call up this year.
  4. s***** timing. I was going to his start in June. Joe Panik and Kirkham might be all that's left to truly watch. At least there is $1 beers
  5. if you trained your burro better every stadium would be 20 minutes from home. Yeah on Saturday it was against the DSL Jays. Guerra and Boca Chica for the rest of the week. Give us a report if you go. Back to the Mesa now!!!
  6. Team is winning, so people need something to be negative about...so sad all this negativity. Oh yeah and Go Rays! PS. f*** you ECJF I'm wearing my Rays shirt tonight.
  7. Ang have you had a chance to watch the Canadian National Jr.'s down in DR this week? My friend's son (Andrew Yerzy) is on the team. First 5 round Draft prospects Morgan, Pop, and Robinson are there too.
  8. On a positive note Don Zimmer looks 100 years younger
  9. I do too. Matt Moore offered to sign it but I told him to save his arm. Guess I didn't help enough. Sox are looking to rally around something, can anyone blame them.
  10. Love watching Hamilton half swing the other way with the game on the line. Even with them playing in...it's better than a walk.
  11. I love that Gabe Kapler is pushing advanced stats from the announce booth, and he understands them well...and tries to simplify things when talking about them, however, his pushing the advanced stats is coming off as argumentative in a non-argument situation (many here can understand that).
  12. You know I was agreeing with you right?
  13. actually Boxy gets the nod here. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Av3moDN3hAuQdDFzVGhadWtXRXZpdmdOXzNvT29Ha2c&hl=en_GB#gid=0 Of course he ruined his rep by putting Nestor 6th and Cooper 13th.
  14. I really agree with this. Especially since they are going to have a huge decision to make on whether or not to shut down Hutch. They are one of the most conservative orgs in this regard and considering the red flag on innings increased for pitchers under 25 is 30 innings increased. I can see them already being concerned.
  15. this one moved them up in the standings.
  16. A's are loaded with low ball hitters, it may have been some called pitches up too.
  17. that was another missed pitch. Cespedes is the guy you can leave it up on
  18. amazing what a big defensive play can do to a pitcher. He went from looking rattled to pitching solid and no issues
  19. That is Pillar's biggest issue...he's really good at contact and he swings at s*** like that far too often and it's not to foul it off.
