  1. a little better stuff...a little/lot worse command.
  2. I love the way the pitch framing detractors all talk about the Umpires adjusting and not getting fooled when the catchers glove is moving...but then good framers with moving gloves still continue to get strike calls.
  3. that's broken
  4. Regardless I'll bite. .255/.319/.400
  5. Alex? So you are putting up $50?
  6. Which is funny cause his Rookie season was his best offensive one.
  7. Cahill should have taken the mic away, would have improved the bit so much.
  8. hmmm lost his left index finger in an accident...stutters when typing the r in Bryant (or brryant). I think Dinger has it.
  9. It's a SSS but out of option guys that have never had MLB success are always going to be playing for their jobs.
  10. Showing that anyone who gets a second masters degree is a horrible decision maker, Kelly Nash leaves the Rays for the MLB Network. http://www.tampabay.com/resources/images/blogs-photo/rendered/2013/03/newkelly_8col.jpg Biggest loss to the Rays this off-season.
  11. I fluked on to this site last week. It's very interesting, I haven't thrown the data into a spreadsheet yet but someone could. Man games lost last year the Jays were 13th. http://www.mangameslost.com/end-of-regular-season-mlb-disabled-list-games-missed-and-tmitt-september-30-2014/

    NFL Thread

TSN dedicates 70 hours of TV time to talk about Curtis Glencross getting traded. In one week McCoy, Graham, Bradford, Ngata, Alonso, and Foles all dealt. NFL is so much more fun than the NHL.
  13. The fact that we are talking about best options and they aren't devastating to the team should prove them wrong. But every team losing a really good player is going to take some sort of a hit. I'm waiting to hear about Reyes missing the season from complications arising from the Clap before I do my "told you so's"
  14. Castro for a 200 IP starter...when they are ready, they're ready!
  15. Still young enough to believe grades matter.
  16. Humber is for old creepy dicks. While we are talking about school though the Humber Sport Management program has 2700 applicants for 150 spots this year. That is just stupid...and the rejection rate will be higher than almost all Sport management programs
  17. And only a real ******* would cheer for a team outside of the city they live in
  18. One of the Blue Jays I truly like. Really s***** news for him and the Jays. Good news for those that bet the Jays would finish behind the Rays.
  19. Yeah in the Happ deal I was much more on the side of "most boring deal ever". Liked Perez but understood his value, or lack thereof. I hear it all the time in Florida trade though (I only cared about ______ in that deal). All of those players had and still have value.
  20. I hate judging a trade on how the prospects worked out. It still doesn't deal with the value the prospects had at the time in other potential deals (in this case, on their own not many of these players had much value), or the max value they had (I think Asher is the only guy who's value on his own may have gone up)
  21. ...and stopped reading
  22. The good news is that most 30 somethings that have back pain get a few days rest and never suffer from it again.
  23. How am I the only one that guessed Melky? Similar stuff was said in SF.
