  1. Guru Todd. Just out of curiosity where would you rank a 20 year who moved from A to High A with a combined line of .298/.398/.421 with 27 SB's in 34 attempts. With 4 HR's. 22% K-Rate and 13.7% BB rate. Projected Solid CF "D" and elite athleticism. If this person existed in the Jays system right now, what range would you slot this person into?
  2. Lupe "Scott Niedermayer" Chavez.
  3. A lot of holes to fill...difference between him and a replacement is smaller than most players which have trade value.
  4. Luis Valbuena makes a lot of sense (I'm on about year 4 of saying this) if he isn't stuck on playing 3rd. Hamstring issues will bring down his FA value. I feel like the Jays need more guys that have some position versatility. I'd also see what Osuna could get in return.
  5. I'm too sick to be doing moderation
  6. It isn't exactly a priority to get him a passable backup...but it shouldn't be an after thought either. Safe to say he won't be playing the WBC.
  7. Honestly I would have let him face the bottom of the order.
  8. I haven't been around I was just asked to merge.
  9. Are there two GDT's? Is this something I should do about or is it a superstitious thing?
  10. Yeah there were quite a few Jays fans too. What I meant was that it was relatively quiet when the Indians did anything good...but when Bautista got out even the Non-Indians fans cheered.
  11. If anyone has an MLB.tv which they trust to give me the password to I'd appreciate it. I have to go to the walk in to get this syphilis thing looked at. Please PM if you are willing.
  12. Just got back from a week in Vegas. It's unreal how hated Bautista is. No one I talked to ever said anything about the team. But the Bautista hatred was so real. The sport books were somewhat quiet for the Jays games...but when Bautista got out...you would swear a run was scored. When it was K Looking. There were so many "sit your ass Down" comments
  13. I'll allow this thread for now King, but please note that Todd is now the official prospect guy for this board.

Need some guys for a 10p hockey draft tonight with a few of my classmates. Not super serious. Anyone. I'll get a link soon. I go to work at 3:00 though
  16. Cowherd did. Emily Austin did. The unknown reporter that asked Draymond Green about the Houston Floods did. Curt Schilling did. I just truly believe that if this were perpetrating black stereotypes, or gay stereotypes or coming off as Anti-Semitic, there would be swift punishment. Native rights are often trivialized, especially in sport. I mean what the the league going to say "we care deeply about how the comments hurt...oh wait no we don't give a f*** just like we've never cared that our League has a mascot and logo that is a caricature of Natives". Natives have zero power, especially in America, it's just really sad. You may think this is me being sensitive but it's something I've fought for since 1989 and have been very consistent with my statement on.
  17. I agree about those laughing. I just have no idea who they were. Replace this with a black stereotype or homophobic. He wouldn't be given a day. Natives have zero voice so it doesn't matter. I'd much rather see Chief Wahoo go than have Pedro fired, but at some point someone has to apologize and explain that they understand why it's offensive...then still have repercussions. Keep in mind that Pedro was one of the Dominicans to lead the charge in getting Colin Cowherd fired from ESPN for making comments that Baseball can't be that complicated, a third of the Dominican plays it.
  18. the most underrated middle infield in baseball
  19. He won't be fired because the Native population doesn't matter. That's the end truth. Maybe they will take a poll to see if Natives think it's offensive. just like they did with Donald Sterling.
  20. There is no bigger Pedro fan than myself, and I understand that there is a language issue...but he absolutely has to be fired for this.
  21. who said that.
