    My history with the Indians is clear. I can do something which will give the Jays a decided edge...bet on the Indians. I've had money on the Indians every year since 2013 (only one I cashed was the 2013 over bet). Including last year where I re-upped several times as they dropped in odds. This isn't big money in any way but said this year I wouldn't bet on them no matter what.

    this is so great. Batting Arrieta with a man on 2nd and 1 out...but might be pulling him after this.

    You know that's not true. The freakin' Twins are involved in 2 of the highest rated World Series of all time (I think they are 2nd and 3rd). Jays followed Twins and Braves 1991 2nd best ratings of all time and it dropped by 10M viewers. Cleveland the Braves was split between 2 networks and coming off a strike year (and low ratings all year) and matched the Jays and Braves in 92. A battle of futility between the Cubs and Indians would jump back into the 20M households.

    Contending window is to the end of October. Not saying that they won't contend next year, but I'm not sure what the obsession would be at this point.

    He was converted before that( at age 21), I forgot about his Tommy John Surgery so I guess it was probably early enough to convert him. The surgery cost him 2008 and 2009 (his legal issues started then but he never did time). Then 2012 was his really bad issues.

    hard to believe that someone didn't see it earlier. Then again he wasn't exactly clean when playing shortstop so an earlier conversion may not have worked out.
