    I've missed a bunch of games and often watch while at work so not paying 100% attention but his metrics at SS are pretty bad so far (-3 DRS)

    Gruber's reported post did bring out the mods to the GDT. In the same way that J4L19's milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.

    Pendleton has a big edge on new mod status...killing it with punny posts and has shown interest.

    no it was Gruber who complained about people starting up on him. For the record I did not ban him, another mod did. I don't mind personal fights and swearing, I think it juices up the board...but others hate it. Keeps everyone on their toes.

    Yes, there are a few guys on this board who speak in very definitive statements. Gruber, Boxy, King occasionally, Grant (the king of it), BTS gets accused of it but I don't see it. When you are very inflexible you tend to get "s***" more when you are wrong. When good things happened after the 2015 deadline I got s*** on for my inflexibility on AA and deserved it. Same thing thing with JPA. Those two good games he had in his career, I took a beating.

    I can't speak for the other mods but I've made it really clear in the past. Don't report posts which are pretty much personal feuds. I don't care about them. Report real issues.

    Yeah I said mid-last year that I had given up on Conforto really only NJH and TCA made offers. We are always tougher on our own guys. Adames is a prospect that I was high on then I talked to Jono and was huge on him, I had a plan to approach NJH for him when he included him. Then I asked for too much. When they came back with the 3 way deal, I said yes way too fast (I had turned down Adames and a pick for Conforto to NJH like two weeks earlier). Like every prospect I own, Adames has been terrible so far this year.

    DDL'ers (and some lurkers) let me know if you are interested. The guy running this runs about 100 pools a year and always pays out in a timely manner. I don't see this one lasting long. Starts May 22nd before the first game that Monday Hello All, Baseball season is under way and I have been asked to run a baseball contest of some magnitude - so - baseball survivor it is... OBJECT OF THE GAME You pick one major league baseball team per week and they need to win at least half of their games for you to advance to the next week. If they win less than 1/2 their games (less than 50%) then you are eliminated. You can only use a team once. Cost will be $25.00. The contest will be hosted on officefootballpool.com.

    In the 10th I called it would go 20 but it's ending this inning, teams will get sloppy as they just want it to end

    I'm not saying he's a prospect but he walked 4 batters in his first couple games. Last 9.1 innings he's struck out 12 and walked 2. It's a small sample but he legitimately could fill in with the injuries. If you have to DFA him if he struggles not a big deal at 27.
