    San Jose and Columbus were my only two losses. But I had San Jose going to the finals.

    But has anyone ever gone 14-0 after winning just 6 categories the two previous weeks? This felt like a normalization week. NJH almost up to .500, Dinger back into first in the Reuben, me back to the middle of the pack. At least I got into the record book this week.

    Third round of our draft was a few huge wins and a lot of big misses (those last 6 picks which I can proudly say I'm part of). Adam Jones was panned at the time and he's the third best hitter to go in the round. Matt Moore, Gio González, Adam Jones, Aroldis Chapman, Yu Darvish, Matt Holliday, Zack Greinke, Cliff Lee, Paul Goldschmidt, Chase Headley, Chris Sale, Ben Zobrist, Manny Machado, Jurickson Profar, Jered Weaver, Joe Mauer, Billy Butler, Elvis Andrus, B.J.     So how many people have players from the original draft (not prospect draft)? Off hand I can only think of Trout, Machado and Goldy. My last original was Eovaldi who I had right up until the waiver cut this year.

    Commonwealth is likely happening. It has been taken away from South Africa and Toronto is one of 4 cities that can do it. All we need is an athlete village. And Pan Am was an incredibly successful games in Toronto...and considering you linked to 4 building built because of the Pan Am's as "cool s***" that would be pretty hypocritical of you to now call it taxpayer draining.

    They need that space for an Athlete's village (and hopefully someday a casino) for the 2022 Commonwealth Games, and future Olympic games.

    Stilson going 4k's without a walk should have got him honourable mention in the three stars. Gurriel coming out of the game I assume was a planned thing?

    I'm the guy that made a $50 bet that Thames would hit more HR's than Greg Bird. I was pretty big on his MLB power. I'm not mocking you or anyone else for their opinions on Thames. You made a statement that said "most" didn't want Thames. I'm just quoting that and putting it in the thread where Thames was actually discussed. If I were to ban everyone who had a difference of opinion than me, there would have been no one left after the Hottest Blue Jays thread. You are safe to continue posting as usual. Be wary of this paranoia though. If you are hearing voices in your head...ask around and see if any of them have an acuity for baseball.
