  1. Or a complete non-factor.
  2. What is Tellez best case scenario? Does anyone actually see him as a 3.0 fWAR guy? 2.0? I think he's Trey Mancini with a few more walks.
  3. I'm not 100% certain either but his career slash line against, first time through is .219/.315/.331. It doesn't always translate directly but it seems like an okay indicator and even last year he was very good first time through.

This is only the 2nd season he's been with the Raptors where he wasn't in the top 20 in VORP or Win Shares (he was 38th overall in VORP this year). He's been treated terribly by Raps fans over the years for a guy that has been a top 20 guy throughout his time with us. Now that he's on the bad side of the aging curve (32 is like 36 in baseball terms) and is drop to "just a top 50" player, we are really going to hear it. I say f*** you to the Lowry haters.
  5. I ditched my whole team in the off-season and left Beer out there for 71 picks. I like him but I'm not tied to him. My window is small in this league and you going 12-0-2 and passing me was enough to spark a move. I sent a trade to P2F with my drop player, is that the best way to do it or should I drop the player and a commish can do it in the back-end so it doesn't cost P2F a move?
  6. Trade To me: Jose Alvarado, MiLB 43 and 61 To P2F Seth Beer, MiLB 7
  7. Torkelson has been on a tear since Pac 10 play started. He's still likely the top one.
  8. nope walked 11 joke walked 1 and hit 1. It's only the 14th in the KBO history though
  9. Found Shoemaker's replacement
  10. Are we even set up well for that? Maybe a SRF & Gaviglio piggyback. Waguespack deserves next shot just based on age and how he has pitched in his first 2 starts.

They will be gone tonight, but I'll give San Jose and Golden State as close enough
  12. Kirk's pants expand but his strikezone does not.

But they are the last Canadian team...
  14. He would not have strung together two good seasons in the scenario. His projections are 130 innings of 4.50 ERA/FIP with an under 2.0 k/BB ratio
  15. Then pay him $6m next year and if he does repeat 2016 in 2020.. offer him 4 years $68m and you have 2 more years of data on him. In no way do you pay him 5 years right now. The reward is no where near sweet enough unless he's something like 3 years $25m with 2 $10M options. And I would be uneasy about that, as should he/Boras be.
  16. Lers say Sanchez pitches to projections this year. Then repeats 2016 in 2020...what does he make in Free Agency?
  17. Then the trade return should be pretty high. Give someone else the risk.
  18. Sanchez is an options guy for me. I don't ever ink him to guaranteed money without an easy out. I imagine I'd be looking for a trade for him now though, unless he's the type that is absolutely open to being a once through the order guy.
  19. The Angels series makes so much sense.
  20. WAR is WAR, it is meant to compare player, even though we know that players aren't paid by WAR. I love Khrush, and think it's great that he wants to stay in Oakland. But the deal itself was very fair, and I was pointing out that people's reaction to the deal is based more on Fantasy perceptions to reality. If you believe in fWAR (and I do) than those names I mentioned are the people in Khrush's real life comparables over the past 4 years. P.S. Judge left today's game with what might be an oblique injury
  21. yep legit source. A couple days late for the Resurrection though
  22. Not sure who this is but if he's 25 likely he has enough years in the Cuban league that he won't be under the International Cap. The one that is available right now is Yolbert Sanchez. He is linked to the Cards, who need to wait until July 2nd to sign him. Jays could be in good position to play with the Cards
