I just don't understand the impatience with Biggio. if you believe he is Zobrist 2.0 or even an MLB all star then you should hope they wait until he passes the Super 2 deadline. If you think he is just a guy who is better than the guys you have...then you should wait until September at least. If you want him up cause you think he makes the Jays a playoff team than you are a homer

and in turn we should no longer trust any Hispanics. -
I don't think this is even a question. If they think he can help the team as a pitcher you bring him up as a pitcher. He will continue to develop the bat in Batting practice and batting drills. He has whatever time left in the minors, every spring training and occasional pinch hit, spot start PAs to develop against professional pitchers in game situation.

The fact that Sickels was so high on Logan Gilbert at the draft but doesn't have him in the top 100 now discounts his list completely. Just put him in the top 25 where everyone will have him by year end anyway.

It makes it much easier to just ban a word from on field use...but it's a slippery slope. What if a black player calls his teammate by the word in a positive way? Also, does it set a precedent now that it is a 1 game suspension for using it, regardless or the context? Do you have different levels for white players, for black players, what about mixed or Hispanic? I was asked to write a specific policy on banned words for a sport organization I was working for and I refused. It was left as a case by case basis.

I picked up Dozier last Sunday cause I had moves left and he was playing on Monday in an open spot of mine. Moving a pick up for an asset. Hopefully he pitches in the pen this year ... cause I don't want a starter ruining my stats.
