but this was a nice subtle way to take a shot at the other Reubenites by stating that they are non-factors on my road to my first post-season. PS. I have a 2 starter staff of Lucchesi and Boyd. I do not actually believe that I'm a sure fire contender, especially since I'm only confident in 2 of my relievers.

It's not the Dodgers though. Funny thing is that Trout is talked about so much (or at least as much as he should be) on MLB network and baseball specific shows. I've heard conversations of "what does he have to do in the next 10 years to be considered the greatest of all time". But on ESPN and multi sport platforms he doesn't seem to get in the conversation. With that said baseball players have never had mainstream name recognition as much. Even ARod and Jeter who have dated and married several huge celebrities are barely known by say my niece (who is 25 and despises sports but loves the Kardasians and TMZ). She knows Tom Brady and lots of NBA players but when I asked her to name a baseball player still playing she said Alomar. I just googled an article called "50 athletes who are loved by non-sports fans". Bob Uecker, Derek Jeter and Deion Sanders were the only baseball players on there (4 figure skaters made it), and Deion really can't count as 90% of non sports fans probably knew he played baseball.

Bunting for hits is very different than a sac bunt. The Rangers broadcast actually pulled up the run expectancy chart in the game against the angels this weekend to explain why the sac bunt and stolen base is a dying thing. It's not like it's even complicated, even the oldest school of old school could figure it out. I wish the Jays had a segment for simple analytics on their broadcasts. Maybe that will happen when you get rid of the oldest of old school announce team. -
The answer is yes...the team being terrible at hitting will affect attendance. The fact that Brito might get an extra plate appearance during the game will not cost the Jays 1 fan. Close thread!

my decisions on who to start have been stellar as usual. 16 for 39 with 6 HR's on my bench. Even if I got Bader vs. Heyward right half the time I wouldn't need tomorrow.
