  1. This may be the most inefficient outing I've ever seen.
  2. Salazar makes Happ look like a model of efficiency. Holy crap has he used a lot of pitches.
  3. What makes you say "improved?" His K/BB numbers in the minors have been pretty much at his career norms.
  4. I think you're getting a little too excited. Coulter wasn't even a top 10 Brewers prospect by BA or BP before the season, and they don't exactly have a great system. He's going to need to keep up this hot start for a lot longer to make Top 100 lists. Two days ago Jason Parks had this to say about him: "Production is never a bad thing, but I see a really strong mistake hitter right now, and I'm not sold the bat will carry. I also don't see a catcher long-term, but that can take time and he can improve enough to make it work."
  5. Twinkies! They walk off the Red Sox (again)!
  6. Hard to take this article seriously without any data being provided. Neyer just finds a bunch of young aces who got hurt in a 40 year sample. Okay.
  7. That's how it's done! Corey Kluber seems to be a legitimate #2 starter.
  8. Cueto has dominated plenty of good teams too. He has a streak of nine starts with seven or more innings, two runs or fewer to start the season (3 CG). That's objectively impressive! Edit: MLB seems to agree.
  9. C'mon, it's news-worthy! He's the NL Cy Young favourite.
  10. Johnny Cueto is really something. Has faced one over the minimum through five with five strikeouts. 2.69 xFIP on the season.
  11. MLB supplies the F/X data, which teams can use in their systems. Teams would also have access to other data like detailed disabled list/transactions data, their own medical data, their scouting intel, etc. It's pretty easy to get historical play-by-play/boxscores too. What you do with the data is the important thing here.
  12. They have Data Management (a 4U class), which is more practical for non-STEM career choices. Functions isn't really "heavy math," it has practical stuff.
  13. Didn't read this until now. Wow. The Rangers are f***ed.
  14. No, but I've done one of Tennessee Williams' other plays. Don't your exams start soon though?
  15. It was every grade from 6-12, honestly. The books just got more and more confusing as the grade advanced. By Grade 12 the plot would have no meaning whatsoever; it'd all be about symbolism and imagery. We read the strangest books.
  16. Are you saying your spreadsheet can be wrong? This is a big step for you BTS.
  17. In Grade 11 we had to memorize a Romeo & Juliet soliloquy and present it to the class in character.
  18. Four former Blue Jays and one should-be-a Blue Jay (Baker) in the lineup for Miami. DeScalfani looks okay so far.
  19. Maholm got off to a great start last year and I pimped him pretty hard lol This game has gone off the rails in a hurry.
  20. Well I've just started watching this game. Jeff Mathis lol. Vin Scully: "He's a wonderful catcher."
  21. Kid looks like a bust to me. Jays should trade him while he still has some prospect lustre.
  22. There's probably a logical explanation for the owner not being able to accept, maybe he has an ineligible player on the DL. Make sure this isn't the case before you manually do the trade for him.
  23. I didn't realize DeScalfani's MiLB numbers had been so good. He could be a useful arm for Miami.
  24. Nice! With Iwakuma back at 100% your pitching staff is really something. I'm at 16/0 currently. I like how Yahoo considers an infinite K/BB to be equivalent to zero. I wonder if they'd evaluate it that way if you finished the week at infinity.
