    It's not 7%, it's seven percentage points of a different scale. 178 is 4% more than 171. It's the same as a 104 vs. 100 wRC+, which is pretty insignificant. At any rate, it's not the "understatement of the night" as Schulman said.

    Baserunning counts as "offensive" though. Of course it does. But Miggy really hasn't been much better with the bat anyway: It's a 178-171 wRC+ differential.

    "Romero has knee issues apparently." Um, that's not exactly true. He just brings up his knee as a thing but says they shouldn't make an impact. The knees aren't his problem. He never really got lefties out so we can't really even turn him into a LOOGY.

    Yeah but does Janssen throw 97, have a wipeout slider or get swinging strikes? Nope. He'll never be that guy. Also, he has a 5.60 xFIP now on the season. Some of you guys are getting a little too excited.

    There are only two or three posters who are pretending that. You don't have to listen to them. Reyes is fast and a pretty good player overall.

    Loup is better on a per-inning basis than Buehrle. Loup also isn't at fault for losing the lead. He got a ground ball, which is a good outcome.

    Yeah it's obscene. He spots a 98 mph fastball on the outside corner than throws a real wipeout slider. I think there's some deception in the delivery too.

    I watch every Holland outing, guy is just so much fun. He had to strike out Adam Jones twice lol. Mark Melancon has a better cutter than Davis too.

    They need to give Hendriks a look at some point this season. Not sure if this is it though. The Twins gave up on him too early, I was confused when they let him go. He can do some stuff.

    It's not like his dad played in MLB and is liable to get confused with him, so he shouldn't use the Jr IMO. Jackie Bradley is the same way. Although I believe he only has "Ross" on his uniform, so there's that.
