    I don't blame Turner. Age is what it is. I blame the Jays front office. When the jays were a top team, mid 80s until the two series titles, they had one of the biggest budgets in baseball. That's what it takes to compete, unless you're Tampa. The Tampa front office does more with less than any other team in baseball, and it's not even close. probably the best management group in baseball. trying to keep a low budget, but still be competitive, doesn't work. They were willing to spend the GDP of a small country for Otani but wouldn't put that money into building on what they had after the deal didn't go through, they are getting what they paid for.

    I Live in Bali half of the year, spend time with the kids and grandkids the other half. Last year I sold my place in the South of Sweden and moved to a place around the corner from my kids. life's been busy

    I saw the Jays get absolutely lambasted at Yankees stadium a few years back. That absolutely sucked. Fun to go to the park, but that wore off quick when the Jays started booting the ball around and giving up bombs. Hard to feel good when your team can't even do the simple things, like catch and throw.

    There are a lot of players who have a chip on their shoulder. People are acting like he's Brett Lawrie. Not even close. I hope he can figure things out and get back to the Bigs. I wouldn't wish this situation on anyone. Wishing ill on another human being really says a lot about a person.

    Yeah, I don't see a lot of other teams play. I'm glad I'm getting a chance to see some jays games. last 2.5 years have been crazy lol

    I'll agree. I just had the thought and I'm not going looking for the stats at 5am. lol when I get up that thought will be gone KK and WM have brought the steal back into play and Springer has been pretty good as well. Like I said, from my blind eye, it's not the base stealing, the bigger mistakes are trying to stretch out extra bases or just not paying attention. I'll agree on the culprits as well. feels about right. I can remember a couple from Bo as well.

    it's not just Whit. the whole team has made dumb decisions running the bases. Most of the mistakes are not stealing, they are taking an extra bag, forgetting the outs, not tracking the ball. I agree with using the team speed, but it needs to be intelligent as well.

    not sure of the numbers, but from a blind eye this seems to be one of the worst base running teams I can remember. they have made so many dumb outs this year
