    I just want the team to win their way into a playoff spot today. Hopefully that and a day off can get them going. It would be nice if they could get a solid final week to get momentum going into the postseason

    that was brutal. I hope they get over the yips before tomorrow's game. I wish I had the will power to look away from the 50 car pile up, but I didn't. So, they had a huge wreck. Can only hope they don't follow it by a train wreck tomorrow

    It was a very good debut. I wish people would save anointing him until he has a couple of seasons under his belt. He's barely finished drinking his first coffee and Buck is talking HOF. I wish the Sportsnet people would stop pumping him up and just let it play out. Manoah was the anointed one, until he couldn't throw strikes. The cologne guy, Chaucin, went from anointed to oh my God, what is that stench in a heart beat. Slow the roll, let it play out. There is potential, lots of it, but lets not get out over our skis and crash before he takes off.

    Diaz is just a horrible ump. He has been for a long time. He was all over the place on both sides. Not bias, just really bad at his job

    I don't mind taking him out there. Let him come off the field feeling like he kicked ass for his first start.

    A couple really fast innings now. This has been a solid debut for the kid. I'm happy for him and for the Jays. I hope the offense can get him a couple and give him his first win.

    They will settle him down between innings if the Bats can give him a couple minutes. The nerves are to be expected. If his velocity is up like they are saying, he probably overthrowing just a little. Now he's had his first inning. Fingers crossed

    great time to be a Jays fan. I really shouldn't stay up, but it will be cool the see the kid make is debut. I hope it goes well for him!!!

    and every team's fans are nervous. This was a great pen night and the pen has been a weak spot lately. This should build back confidence. . Little needed this. Hoffman was on point. Great team win.
