conditioning coach is in charge of keeping them fit enough to play. stretching, training, massage, hot tub... it's all on him to keep them going. so far almost all the starters have had back spasms.
not sure Stroman needs that extra ego kicker... lol I think he could be amazing. use him as a long guy for a few months and stretch him out and then late this year or next spring slide him in as a starter.
Romero was actually very good the first 3 innings and then he fell off a cliff. he's not mentally ready and bringing him up was a huge mistake.
jays are in trouble because AA didn't make a move to bring in a legit 6th starter when it was obvious to everyone that Romero was damaged goods. now he has the same problem as last year. if anyone gets hurt they are screwed.
until Hutch and Drabek come back they dont have any options unless AA makes a move.
it makes the game a little more fun. it's a great new feature and I'm glad you're doing it.
most people here love the team and want them to do well. having an extra thing to root for helps when the game isn't going well.
he wasn't called up for value. he was called up because JJ is missing starts. instead of making a real move AA brought up a guy who wasn't close to ready.

AA probably cost Romero half the season by setting him back while he was getting sorted out. AA needs to get off his park bench and get involved. move forwards or move backwards, there is not standing still.
all around fugly game from both teams. horrible base running by the jays. bad at bats in key situations by the jays. both teams were shaking in pitching but Romero was especially pathetic. some bad defense from both sides. Davis let some balls drop that should have been caught. Boni was his s***** self. so much negative. jays still cant hit with RISP[/font]
about the jays having problems that everyone sees. Wilner calling out Morosi for being negative. Morosi said that his negativity was obviously founded since the jays have been really bad.
Morosi also argued that it was bad to bring up Romero when he obviously wasn't ready.
