    I think the team bought into the hype off season and thought they'd just win. the ST was really peculiar and no one was ready to start. once they started and the wins didn't come the entire team was in trouble. collective arrogance is what led them to where they are.

    I'd say that it's probably Beeston pushing him to use the money and AA not having a competent group behind him. in the long run Beeston and AA dont know s*** about baseball. without quality scouts and stat guys guiding them... well, here we are.

    if that's what you're looking at you're expecting the wrong things. he's always going to walk guys and the strike zone was against him all night. he didn't get a single strike at the knees. Zobrist never should have been on base. it was a routine ball that Rasbust turned into a triple. I it was a solid start and he should have been in for another inning and to the win.

    no he wasn't... 3 runs and if Rasmus caught the fly ball that he should have, it would have been even better. it was one of the best starts any starter has had this year. not sure what you were watching
