it's late and I'm really getting tired of staying up all night to watch them s*** themselves, but cant get myself to not watch. kind of pathetic. most games there is at least something positive to gleam. Lester was great... other than that I was just glad when it was over. time for bed. at least tomorrows game is early. I need to get back on a regular clock for monday. need to do some real things. lol -

DeRosa has been a suitable back up. problem is that Izturis and Boni and absolute s***, so DeRosa is getting more playing time than he should. at least Gibbons has figure out that Boni is a steaming pile and is not using him. hate the thought of him probably being forced to use him with Davis going down.

if a cook goes to work and randomly grills steaks to whatever he thinks is fitting and rarely serves anyone the steak they ordered, he's gonna get canned. but the cook wont fire himself. the customers need to complain and threaten to eat somewhere else enough so the manager fires the cook. teams need to refuse to play with consistently bad umps for things to change.

I wouldn't be asking Negrynch to put up 3 plus years. I want 1 out of him and then an off season move to bring in a second baseman that is legit with up side. maybe he only needs to put up + numbers until they can trade JJ for a second baseman???

they would have to make a depth move to get another AAA catcher for sure. but that is better than keeping Blanco and gives them a better bat than they have now at second. so, two offense + and no defensive -. right now, as much as some would hate to hear it, DeRosa is their best second base option until they make a move. that is the really ugly truth.

they are not going to make a big enough push this year. JJ has to be traded if he's healthy. it would be horrible to lose him for nothing. Boni is not going to get better. he thinks he's great already. he's smokin the same s*** as JPA. wish they'd share. might make the games more bearable. Buehrle needs to go because he's declining fast and his contract is ugly. a contender with a lot of injuries might be willing to take him if the jays eat a little salary. jose and ed would bring a good haul at the deadline as well. all options need to be on the table at the deadline, since the jays will be 15-20 games out by then.

most decisions should be put off, but they can trade away Boni any time they like and JJ has to be gone by the deadline. if they are lucky they can trade Buehrle away at the deadline too.

Reyes is more of a head first kind of guy. this was just a case of indecision after the fact. he should have been sliding no matter what. he was going to walk into the base and saw the ball coming and panicked. he got caught off guard.

AA and Beeston would have to be fired and someone else brought in to start a complete rebuild.

Boni's 2011 is the anomaly, the rest of his career is barely avg to really below avg. he's been a negative war player 5 of his 7 years. if he had 5 good and 2 bad, I'd buy the argument, but he's just bad-

DFA Blanco and bring up thole. that clears up a place on the 40 for Negrynch.
