  1. Not that I believe the study or not (haven't read it), but you don't see how 58 runs would change anything? Holy f***
  2. I wish I had seen Cecil Fielder play 2B.
  3. That's some groundbreaking s***, yo.
  4. Didn't a JaysTalk caller suggest Eric Thames should be our 2B at one point?
  5. Actually, rather than just dismissing this, I'd actually like to take a look at this. Why the f*** even bring this up? Not only is it insanely stupid to look at such a small sample size, not only is it dumn to think that an average player's absence can have this much impact in the game of baseball, but it isn't even supporting your point. And then the double negative in your last sentence made my eyes f***ing bleed. All in all, 2/10, jimmies = rustled.
  6. It's best to just accept that scenario as inevitable then
  7. wait wait wait straight up? No. I mean that if Lawrie was the key in a larger package for those two then I could see them taking it. Lawrie + Stroman + ____.
  8. Lawrie would do it. Worst comes to worst they get rid of Aramis, he has value.
  9. I'm expecting the worst, hoping for the best.

Just saw a Leafs fan suggest Bozak+ for Stastny My god
  11. That's gonna be a bit hard to do when Redmond is our #3 next year
  12. Butter is probably up at the top in terms of quality though. His defensive shifts are really quite incredible.
  13. That's all you think he'd get? Cause damn that would be nice.
  14. Yeah, he's mediocre, but he probably won't even cost a million and he's just a reliever. Define cheap on K-Rod, cause I figure some team will give him a few mil.

  16. Because he strikes out a good deal of batters and doesn't give up many homers. If he walked fewer batters, he'd be very good. 3.84 SIERA also supports some positive regression incoming. If we traded Janssen for something real nice, let Santos close or Delabar or whoever, and signed Burke, I would not mind that.
  17. 3.95 xFIP and put up a .364 BABIP, Steamer projects a 3.74 ERA Um is AA actually maybe almost making a smart move?
  18. Thing is, he gives up Mike f***ing Aviles and Yan f***ing Gomes to do it.

Kulemin - JVR - Kessel Lupul - Kadri - Clarkson Raymond - McClement - Leivo Ashton/Broll - McKegg - Orr Is probably my preference.
  20. Who cares? Can't really hurt, and maybe this is a precursor to trading a bullpen arm
