I feel so bad for them. If they're too bad, they'll get relocated, but they have to be bad to be good. Catch 22. You know that a.) we don't have to to get a great player, as being a bottom 10 team will get us an excellent player, and b.) that there's a lottery, right..?

I'm arguing that trading guys like Gay, Amir and Lowry for draft picks is more beneficial to the team than making the playoffs this year. Sorry if I worded that badly. I almost certainly did. E: ^what he said

whatta chirp sick burn yo Seriously though, Steamer has him hitting roughly his weight and an 89 wRC+, which sounds reasonable. Dunno how lucky he got on a .272 BABIP but I could see the HR/FB regressing.

DeRosa can at least do something resembling hitting though. He's projected to be like 24 points better than Goins in wRC+ lol.

I'm not that disraught (sp?) over Kawa as I'm pretty sure they just wanted to save a little cash, and they're planning on resigning him to a minor league + ST invite deal or something.

I think that Beeston has impacted him somewhat, but without Beeston maybe he's a 15-20 GM. I used to love his buying low and staying true to his plan (minus Darvish). I miss having a good GM. Sigh.
