  1. Happ Estrada Sanchez just filthy. Add Stroman when he's on and that's a damn fine rotation.
  2. Our offense has been averaging two runs a game for the past 7 games or so.
  3. Good pitch. Correa thought no way he was coming back with three fastballs.
  4. Grilli looks like such a good guy to have in the clubhouse.
  5. Looked great. Wonder why they waited this long for him to come up.
  6. You're trying to argue my post by talking about how great Feldman is. Reality is he's average, not much better, if at all than Chavez, who we got rid of. So how much did we really upgrade? Not much. Don't get me wrong, I liked all the moves made, but they are all minor moves.
  7. f*** this offense. Three runs in last 27 innings.
  8. Me saying Sanchez was good while you continuously said he was bad should make up for any 'bad posts' I have. I'm just having flashbacks of AA's beginning here, and it's like de ja vu.
  9. Okay, then keep reading only parts of a post and arguing points that have been addressed, makes sense. Sorry for not thinking this mediocre move was 'incredible'.
  10. Feldman's 4.22 FIP. Benoit has looked good, but he's the same as the rest, guys having poor years hoping they can turn them around. Some will work out, some won't. How many games do they blow before you decide one didn't work out?
  11. Ignoring the rest of what I said. It's still a gamble. If he's terrible how many bad starts do you give him before you go elsewhere?
  12. And got rid of Hutch. We're in contention and all we've done all year is acquire guy on terrible years. No realy upgrade to this roster for the playoffs. This team, probably the best team we will have, assuming Jose and/or EE leave. And everyone says "Amazing". Morales luckily didn't stick around too long, but partially cost us a game in his one appearance. I'm a Liriano fan but he's been terrible. If we were a middle of the pack team, sure it would be nice to give him a chance. But we're a contending team, not a team looking for gems as we race for first place. How big of a leash do you give him? How big of a leash do you give Feldman? How many games do you let them blow before you say 'Okay, maybe our magic touch won't work on them?' $17M for two okay prospects. I'd rather put that towards international prospects who could be elite.
  13. It's the GIBBONS WAY! New? Not very good? We need you in this close game.
  14. Smoak just missing it. Edit. f*** you Smoak
  15. You guys were all over AA's balls when he made minor moves like this when he was first GM as well.
  16. Two hanging breaking balls, couldn't have made it any easier.
  17. Front office really pissed about that loss. Morales gone. Chavez gone.
  18. It's okay if we trade for him and he's bad, we'll just release him after the game.
  19. Chavez has been 'okay'. But not someone you want in to face the Orioles. Sanchez was great too, but that damn lead off walk ended up hurting us both innings.
  20. Remember not too long ago is was crazy to give a reliever $4M+ per year.
  21. If we had a good pen I would definitely consider it. But we don't, and need all the help we can get. I can't believe what Miller got, that's insane. We should start buying free agent relievers and just trade them at the deadline for prospects. Profit.
