Its human nature to feel urgency when youre getting booed/called out for your BS. 

I was never in favour of becoming toxic fanbase with over the top boos but the ones from a few days ago was months overdue.  The complacency from our management/cosching staff/players was unacceptable.

Max has looked a lot better in recent starts outside of the Tampa Bay start...and we all know what happened there.

Granted Seattle's offense isn't good, but if he locates he can still give us some quality innings even if today is an outlier, which it likely is.

We're going to need it, we are absolutely out of starting options.

Scherzer has found a way to turn back the clock since his latest return from the injured list. This current level of good health feels like it's probably built like a house of cards awaiting an imminent implosion but it's impossible to deny how damn well Max has been pitching in the second half of the season.
