Yeah agreed. If you're going to use him out of the rotation, this is the time. Sure you can limit him to 4-5 innings per start if they're worried about his innings.

Was surprised when I heard JS on Blair/Barker and he said he didn't want to piss off Vladdy by moving him down the batting order.  Always knew this, but surprised he said it.

You mean like he did last season?  We have all these excuses ready for everyone so why not for Lauer who said he wasnt healthy to start the season.  

His only fault was opening his mouth but even then he said a gripe with how the Jays penny pinched him during arb when he was a great teammate last year.

His TJ was two years ago now.  I heard he had back issues but nothing arm related recently.   Have to roll the dice at this point.

I guess he's being criticized and felt he needed to put that out there, not a good look imo. One player's feelings shouldn't prioritize the betterment of the team.
