Professional athletes coming back from paternity leave almost always lose their aggression and focus for a while, especially if it's their first born. John Tavares on the Leafs is a prime example a few years ago.

The run was unfortunate, but there were other mistakes on that play too. There was no chance of getting the runner at the plate. The throw should have come in to SS or 3B and kept the runner at 2nd. As for Little, he's actually been somewhat decent since coming back up. The walks are still WAY too high, although a few of those have been intentional.

We don't have many guys available today. Is Sewald or Waldron against lefties a better option? I kind of don't think so.

Fluharty has pitched 3 of the last 4 games. Miles has thrown 2 of the last 3, and they're trying to protect his arm. They just don't have a lot of options for today.

The problem is that Little is still one of the only lefty arms this franchise has.  He shouldn't be in a position where hes even on the roster with his performance dating back to post all star break last year.
