Batman went from batting 9th, to 2nd, to leadoff.  No pressure.

Kirk batting 3rd.  Hope he doesnt clog up the basepaths.

Yeah batting Bateman lead off against a LHP even, is a bit aggressive on JS' part. Hopefully he'll prove us wrong.

Contending teams were stupid not taking a chance on Bieber.  Would have been a good buy low situation for them.

Now it could be a good chance for us to maybe get him on a reasonable deal to truly sure up our rotation next season.

So what’s wrong with springer now anyway?

TSN:

George Springer is not in the Toronto Blue Jays’ starting lineup for the second straight day as they wrap up a series against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Springer was removed from Saturday’s starting lineup due to left shoulder tightness. He did appear in the game as a pinch-runner for Alejandro Kirk in the eighth inning but did not take an at-bat.

Davis Schneider at bats remind me of middle school when the little geeky fella would have to play baseball in gym class and just stand there waiting for the walk

He really is far too selective for my tastes. I wonder if somebody said something to him about Pitch selection and trying to Keyhole a pitch?  The guy really has to swing a lot more.

I agree, I don’t expect elite from him but his at bats are really bad, I’ve seen him watch one go by right down the middle for a third strike way too often
