SeranthonySantander Verified Member Posted July 20 Posted July 20 3 game set against the orioles who are also hot, but I think we will take this to 16. The real challenge will be getting the win streak to 24-26 against the dodgers next week.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Pretty much the season is on the line this week with these important matchups against the Rays and Red Sox. Have to go at least 5-2 during this stretch to hold onto any hope this team has at making the Postseason. Terminator 1
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 20 Posted July 20 This week could show some promise or put a finish to the season for sure
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Well rested pen Ace on the mound You can only win one game at a time so let's just win this one for now jaysblue 1
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Tonight should be a beautiful night for the game. Weather in Toronto is perfect today!
Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Confident Cease will stop Tampa Bay and Jays win today.

SeranthonySantander Verified Member Posted July 20 Posted July 20 If we win it’s great for us sure, but it also lets the Red Sox gain another game in the standings which is ideal. Ill always be a jays fan second and second most, but its nice to see the Sox do well finally

Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Mesa Guerrero Jr oops my bad. Vladdy only wishes he could do that.
Smokinitup420 Verified Member Posted July 20 Posted July 20 I wonder if JS realizes how stupid he sounds ever post game interview saying we just gotta start playing better but yet throws Vladdy out there third every game and refuses to shake up the team
Smokinitup420 Verified Member Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Varsho usual pop fly and grinning about it , gotta love the seriousness of this team to win

Do you think he isn’t trying? Do you think he doesn’t feel embarrassed and pain and has normal feelings like you or me? Is he not human? Brownie19 1
dancingmachine Verified Member Posted July 20 Posted July 20 This offense is pathetic. Cease has let one run but it feels like 6 runs
Mike Oxlong Verified Member Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Is there a stat for fly balls caught on the warning track? Surely we must be leading this stat
bronson44 Verified Member Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Seems fitting that it will likely be the Rays hammering home the last nail in the coffin of our 2026.

Smiling after you fly out isn’t trying nothing, and playing like little leaguers with the errors and mental s***, no that isn’t trying and if you think this team is t try ing to win you are blind
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Cease attempting to erase the runner to make up for the poor run support

Surely we must be leading this stat You could argue hitting a bunch of balls to the warning track is actually a good thing, or at least a sign of good power generally. I would guess we're 25th or worse in this particular stat, should it exist

If you’re paid millions to do something you should do it to the best of your ability, it’s fans like you that don’t hold anyone accountable and are happy with a last place finish, u must’ve been happy with all of your participation awards dancingmachine 1
