I’m honestly not sure if DS is good either, whether due to his reputation (with velocity) or how the Jays use him, or both. If you play him too much then he might get exposed. I just think with his skill set, age, and power, he deserves more playing time given the alternatives. Nothing can be worse than being benched for IKF, so I won’t insult Lukes that much, but it needs to be closer to a split of playing time with more than emphasis on DS getting more time, I said in the off season I thought Luke’s’ 2026 projections were very optimistic. I think he’s closer to a 90 wRC+ guy than above average. If the Jays end up playing him a lot then I hope I’m wrong.
