Brandon Glick Site Manager Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Another very winnable series and a soft landing for Cease to open the season. Thank you, schedule makers!
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Grant Taylor I remember was pretty good out of the pen last season.

gruber9292 Verified Member Posted April 3 Posted April 3 We need to sweep this series to get us to 7-2, where most people expected them to be after the first nine games.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Apparently it's Grant Taylor opening and then Sean Burke in bulk relief If Cease loses to his old team we should just pack it in for 2026 Jays24 1

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 3 Posted April 3 I don't understand why Vladdy didn't just run to first base himself after freezing the runner

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Cease will dominate hitters the vast majority of time but simple mistakes and control usually cost him runs and lot of pitches.

gruber9292 Verified Member Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Ponce and Cease so far look like new born giraffes trying to make defensive plays Jays24 1

gruber9292 Verified Member Posted April 3 Posted April 3 That's better from Cease, finding his release point

Could have called off Cease and Cease could have looked directly at home to see if the runner tries to break. I don't think that runner was going home as soon as Vladdy got the ball where he did.
