Man what a start by Yesavage. I'm sure Varland is getting warmed up (or will soon) but let Yesavage go until he starts to tire/get hit hard.

I mean Vladdy should have covered 1B there but great on Trey with a heads up play.  Not every pitcher runs to 1B on that ball

They are supposed to run to 1st on any hit to that side

Pitching and defense. Trey is rolling. He's young, but let's give him a chance for another inning or two here!

Don't see any reason why they wouldn't let Snell go as deep as possible. He's been great outside of the first 2 batters of the game. He gave up a bloop Triple because Teo is dumb. But this is probably his last outing of the Season. They will likely empty his tank. Atleast until they get back around to Vlad.

It's his last game of the season unless he pitches in relief in maybe game 7? I think you got to go with him in the 7th, he hasn't really been bad.

No f***ing around tonight. Pitchers not named Chris Bassitt or Jeff Hoffman should stay glued to the bench.
