probability of moving up the runners to 2nd and 3rd by bunting is much higher that strike out, ground into DP etc

But JS manages assuming everything happens exactly as he plans. If he just left Lauer in, Gunnerson probably doesn't steal. And if O'neil gets on, its fine cause a lefty is up next. Lauer wasn't in trouble at all. But with Dominguez the margins are slimmer. If he doesn't get O'neil he is immediately in trouble.
