Jays have had pretty bad luck with guys all having career years at different times and not all at once.

Well to be fair we are seeing Springer maybe having a career season, and Kirk's bat is potent again, and Varsho is a middle of the order home run monster, Bo is on track for his best ever full season result etc.

I think that IKF unfortunately had a rare tough game at third base yesterday. He's produced tremendous defensive metrics this season and for his career as a whole but he coughed up a bit of a clunker with a really badly timed error.

I agree but I also see no reason why we should bother finding out when we're already covered with Ernie there.  He should be break glass in case of emergency and not someone you actively try to implement into the lineup.
