This is why I don't mind either trading Bo or just letting him walk for nothing. He's the only weakness the team has on defence and I don't want to see his defence anymore... Also, his defence has been worse this year compared to the last 2 years...

Vlad plays a significantly less important position. Should just tell Andres to work on SS this offseason, let him hold it down until hopefully Nimmala inherits it.

Ya, Gimenez has all the tools to be elite at SS... it'll also help justify his contract a bit more lol.

Bassitt has proven that he can be the no.2 pitcher of this rotation behind a “healthy” Scherzer* if the Jays are post season contenders

however adding the asterisk after that name of Scherzer can be legitimately life and death for the Jays survival come playoffs.

 

they need another big time name who is a proven and tested playoff pitcher who won’t wither under the bright lights and can be the Ace.

Cant ask for much more coming out of the break. 

Bassitt went 6.1, gave up some hits but no walks. No damage. Pen was lights out with 7 out of 8 outs total via the K and again, no walks.
