John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 D Schneider is alive! Just need 6 more of those and we'll be good
gruber9292 Verified Member Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Clement gives off a young Tom Hanks vibe.
gruber9292 Verified Member Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 The 33 game on base streak Vladdy is on is impressive.
neverbeenhere Verified Member Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 He is not worth $500 million, not even close
gruber9292 Verified Member Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Need a dinger from Springer here to get us right back in it.
gruber9292 Verified Member Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Just now, neverbeenhere said: He is not worth $500 million, not even close It's funny how the whole world knows this aside from the Jays' ownership and management.

hanton Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Schwarber had a 47 game on base streak snapped last month - across 2 seasons. That was the quietest run ever. I don't recall at all. Vlady at 33 is pretty impressive - keep it up
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 So I just tuned in and.... Stangstag, Spanky__99 and gruber9292 3
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Vlady rolling over on that slider instead of trying to get behind it and lift it. Ugly flat swing

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Barger with another one! Dude's bat is on fire
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Was a great approach too, 0-2 on pitches up and in, probably figured that's where he was gonna get it in the full count. And he did
Masterbather Verified Member Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Well at least Barger gave us a little bit of wood tonight.

gruber9292 Verified Member Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Barger having good at bats and now is flashing doing damage to high fastballs. He's making it hard to pitch to him. Nice to see, he seems like a good kid.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 I guess there's a difference between the Athletics and the Phillies eh? Lol. On to the next one. Francis needs to add some sleight of hand to go with his smoke and mirrors.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Man, just when I thought Francis was coming around after his starts against SD and Tex, he comes out with this clunker. We want the Francis that came out early in March and April, bullpen was great at least giving up just one run. Davis did his job against the lefty, and Barger continues to scorch the ball. Game was over before it started. Move on, Lets get back at it tomorrow.

I don't see how he lasts much longer. They already had to split up his spot and the bullpen day because he IS a bullpen day.

I'd trust Lauer and other long relief bullpen guys more than Francis.

Laika Community Moderator Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Gotta do something about Francis, he's an auto-loss against many teams
