We really need to make sure to lock down the win today. The Jays are only -160 and I fully expect to see Mason Miller today as he hasn't pitched in 5 days.

But if we can secure the W today then we've got a great shot to sweep with Gausman vs. Sears tomorrow.

Yeah, I read that on Rotowire. Not sure if that's the plan with the Jays though, but it makes sense.

This is an odd thing to complain about, Clase's been red hot and now carries a WRC+ 109, Roden's first stint produced a wRC+ 54... they're just sticking with the hot bat for now would be my guess. IDK.

The point is why bring him up if you aren’t going to play him.  Clase  is likely getting sent down when Gimenez comes back so it’s not like he is a long term solution.

Clase and Lukes absolutely deserve PAs over Roden. Calling up Schneider to ride the bench and face some lefties would've made more sense to me.
