Francis still has a pretty good fastball this year but his secondary pitches all suck.

Last year his splitter was cooking but the velo on that pitch is 1.5 mph slower this year and it's flattened out on top of it.

He can still kitchen sink his way against righties but his curve and slider don't work against lefties. He's got to get the splitter going to pair with his fastball.

Stuff+ on his curveball also went from a 107 to a 93. Must be a shape change since the velo is the same. 

Splitter went from 102 to 91. 

Sadness.

The Rangers don't have much lefty pop in their lineup so he has as good of a chance as he ever does to not get hammered. I guess!

They said it would be a HR in other parks, that's 4 of them, it was well hit, just no result there, I think that's fair.
