As a casual, while Roden may be AAAA -- are we seeing anything special from Clase that would warrant Roden staying down?

It's not about options - Roden and Clase have already been optioned this year so both have used an "option year" no matter how many times they are up an down 

They just think Roden needs time to develop. And maybe think Clase is a better fit for now as a bench OF.

Roden has been rewarding this thinking, he's crushing it at AAA and showcasing the power we all wanted to see from him. Helps to get regular ABs and work on his swing angle.

I mean everybody liked the Hoffman signing and it was hard to complain about Yimi but the Little and Fluharty emergences have been massive

And we might be seeing another random emergence in Fisher who seems to have two plus breaking balls. Plus Y Rod throwing well. Sandlin coming back.

Why bunt with Straw when Clase already got into scoring position and is super fast?

I was fine with the sac bunt last night. Didn't like this one.  Not a fan of Heineman attempting the base hit bunt there either. You're not going to score the runner on it. Unless it's basically a freebie, that probably isn't the time for it.
