Who would do better in CF while Varsho is out, Roden or Springer?

Personally, I think Straw has done enough to get the nod since we're paying him 5M anyways.

I'm just glad he made his start and completed 4 innings. That's a good sign in and of itself.

Im not saying Straw is better than Roden but for what this team will need as a temporary Varsho replacement at CF.  

And I'd rather use a small Spring Training sample size than projections, Straw has looked good enough imo.

I'm too lazy to look up who complained about the Scherzer signing, but whoever did can just stop. Who knows how many innings he can give us, but he's still really really good.  He's the type of guy you gamble on.

It's a 1 year deal and this team definitely needed a Starter... you can't complain much about this signing.    

I'm wondering if he'd made a shift to the bullpen to become a closer to extend his career.

I just hope our internal guys have great years and mid season we are talking about protecting his arm and limiting his innings a bit in the second half to make sure he's ready for the playoffs because we're in a playoff position mid season!
