I just realized Joe Davis did the ultimate tribute to Vin Sully....same call!

 

This afternoon Joe Buck called the David Freese HR in 2011 where he quoted his Dad "and we'll see you tomorrow night" (Puckett HR).

 

That's as good as it gets for a broadcaster. To have the opportunity to call a historic moment and to pay tribute to some of the best to ever do it. Well done. How can you not be romantic about baseball!
