Chris Black had a thread outlining some tweaks recently that unlocked extra bat speed. Springer is up several MPH in June seemingly as a result.

It is time to start sitting Davis

 

He has a 80 wRC+ this year vs lefties (coming in to this game) and a 120 wrc+ against righties yet we trot him out there every time we face a lefty and rest him more often vs righties. The talk when he first came up was that he had reverse splits in the minors but I can't seem to find those stats at the moment.

 

He had great stats against lefties (and righties) in 2023 but I think you have to discount that a lot because he came up and hit everything at an unprecedented historical rate that was completely unsustainable.

 

Anyways the Jays seem so slow to react to anything and I think they may be using him wrong.

 

 

 

Also I got to say the constant micro adjustments he makes to his swing and stance bug me somewhat.
