Laika Community Moderator Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Every night This team makes me want to throw up
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 What a pathetic AB from Vlad. What are you swinging at bro? Does he have vision issues? It’s like he makes up his mind to swing all the time regardless of where the pitch is. Horrible approach all year.
BlueBaller Verified Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Babe has been this seasons saving grace. What a beauty!
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2023 Author Posted September 9, 2023 Seriously, just bat Vladdy somewhere 5-9.
BlueDrip Verified Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 This is Babes house. f*** Vladdy Haha honestly build around the Babe and Bo. Everyone else is on the trade market
M.E. Verified Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Other than Davis this is another pathetic hitting performance. This team is So hard to watch
Steeljays Verified Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 small ball isn't a strategy you want to take going into a game, it's a situational play only. LOL. Ok
BlueDrip Verified Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Seriously, just bat Vladdy somewhere 5-9. or just let him only bat in bp.
Steeljays Verified Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Sac bunting is almost always dumb giving up outs. We don't need small ball. We need more bombs! Been all year. bombs aren't coming.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Seriously, just bat Vladdy somewhere 5-9. Honestly, yes, run this lineup. 1. Springer 2. Bo 3. Belt 4. Schneider 5. Vlad 6. Kirk 7. Varsho 8. Clement 9. Kiermaier
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Does he have vision issues? It’s like he makes up his mind to swing all the time regardless of where the pitch is. Horrible approach all year. Cue incoming Omar posting a Ricky Vaughn meme "Wild Thing" in response.
goldbug103 Verified Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Disagree. A better choice has Fatty G on the bench and Horwitz starting.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 LOL. Ok Well, just watch the Braves and Dodgers, then let me know what you think about small ball
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Kikiuchi showed up, bats get it going man
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2023 Author Posted September 9, 2023 LOL. Ok hanton is correct. It is the difference between strategy and tactics. As a strategy you don't want to bunt but may employ it as a tactic within the game if necessity dictates. Bottom line: don't bunt.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2023 Author Posted September 9, 2023 Cue incoming Omar posting a Ricky Vaughn meme "Wild Thing" in response. I actually watched it again a last month.
BlueBaller Verified Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Buck hates this team haha. Its obvious.
Steeljays Verified Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Well, just watch the Braves and Dodgers, then let me know what you think about small ball Are you saying we are comparable to LA & Atl? Yes bunting is situational as you say. That was a situation to bunt and move runners over with less than 2 outs with a struggling hitter.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Why is this f***ing weirdo pitcher always smirking
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Wait, s***** pitchers pitching s***** and the team sucks, can't be the scouting and coaching again
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 My God, Clement & Horwitz should be in the lineup. It's the f***ing Royals and these "vets" can't do s***.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 92 center cut cookie, foul ball pop up lmao
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Are you saying we are comparable to LA & Atl? Yes bunting is situational as you say. The math just doesn't work - giving up an out - also bunting is really hard in todays game with the V and stuff - you can foul/miss one or two strikes off and be in a count hole - pop it up or bunt it too hard to the wrong place and the lead runner is forced out anyway.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Curve ball at Kirk's head...swing!...lmao
M.E. Verified Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 When you guys go to the game is there anyone displaying displeasure to the bench? Seems like Jays fans just sit there and only cheer if things are good.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 That’s a strike dude. Way too close to take that with two strikes.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 What is that 6 Ks looking...
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2023 Author Posted September 9, 2023 I think I enjoyed watching the 2011-2013 Jays more than this team.

Fair enough. Let's just agree to disagree. But this team needs a shake up and needs to change their approach. Game half way thru with nothing against a team pushing 100 losses.
Captain_Obvious Verified Member Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Why did Schneider take Kikuchi out? Is this related to the tiny boner he gets every time he makes a pitching change?
