I think our pitchers are all just struggling with the Coors effect and lack of break

 

Maybe, I guess guys like Gausman would struggle more given the two-pitch profile and the hitters able to zero in more but I don’t see that lack of break as the problem with the splitters, they’re nearly all in the dirt

Gausman has had a s*** second half

His ERA is around 4 in the 2nd half, wouldn't call that "s***".

 

Definitely not as good as he should be though.

Haha yeah I'm being dramatic, but he doesn't look 'good.'

 

The splitter isn't fooling anyone.

imagine being able to buy almost a condo in Toronto in 1 year work. Picked the wrong profession. You could just retire after 3 years with 1m free and clear. Probably don't even have to buy their own lunches too, just pocket the money.

Our schedule is supposed to be an "easy schedule", but instead, they lost the series against the Guardians, won 2 of 3 games against the Nationals and are about to get beaten by the Rockies...

TBH I don't trust Gausman that much lately.

 

He's giving up many runs since the all-star break.

 

He isn't our best SP right now

Idk hard to say

 

All 5 are pretty close

 

Earlier in the year it would have been easy to pick Gausman and Berrios to start a WC series. Now Kikuchi looks so good and so does Ryu.
