These f***ing nerds will pinch hit if the run expectancy is 1% greater but decide to pitch to a lefty with the a right hander on deck in a must win game with an open base

The only person I want retained is Shapiro. Everyone else can be punted into the sun

Why Shapiro?

We lost this game when we failed to win it in the 9th or 10th

Ffs

Jano leadoff 2B. Winning run at 2B no out.

LHH Biggio - pull hitter who sucks at bunting asked to give up an out for us and bunt runner to 3B, with Espy due up. Results in out at 3B. Even a GB to the right side accomplishes the same objective.

Espy swings at Ball 4 - Either he got the green light which should be a firing offence, or he swung 3-0 and should fired into the sun. Swings at ball 4 and fails to move runner at 1B into scoring position GIDP

This is the stuff of nightmares when we look back at '23 if its another 2021.

So do we have the balls to fire the manager and trade Vladdy for someone that can lead the team?

Bellinger would look so good right now.

Like the pitching, don’t want to give up on Defence as it helps the pitcher but Chapman won’t be worth the money he demands.

Can’t stand non athletes like Kirk. Getting on base doesn’t help when you can’t get around the bases.

Lots of work to do.

Exactly just let Biggio swing in they scenario

That’s the kind of call made by a guy who is s***ing his pants and doesn’t know what else to do

At what exactly?

You do understand Mark Shapiro has no influence on the day to day baseball operations right?

Where are all the Shatkins bootlickers/positivity trolls right now?

Ross Atkins did his job and assembled a good team. So good in fact, that many prognosticators picked this Jays team to challenge for the AL championship at the beginning of the season. Then he solidified the bullpen to elite levels at the deadline. They have had key players underperform. That's not on him. Employing Schneider and the rest of the staff is on him though. It's not a good situation we're in and Atkins should get his share of the blame as the GM, just not all of it.

Naw, 2021 was worse. That team was a serious postseason threat. It's amazing to me if anyone thinks that this team could be at this point.

Lol, yes.

It wasn’t clear that you did in fact know that

Getting Rogers to invest in the fan experience and upgrade the park as well as upgrading and renovating Dunedin are both massive positives for the organization

What has he done that you take issue with?

They have a bottom 5 farm system. Their payroll is pretty much maxed with no young guys really signed to team friendly deals. All the while with having a top 7 payroll. I don't see a good future right now for this team, there are teams in far better positions with good prospects. I mean, that all changes if Rogers says go to the 275m level but that would still be risky.

If you just let Cavan swing in the 9th we probably win. Frustrating

Especially with KK running for Jano

This is a hurtful example of why Clement should have assumed Espinal's role at least two months ago. We probably win this game if Clement is playing instead. Also, who's responsible for sitting Davis Schneider for that long stretch after his debut in Boston?

That's all Ross Atkins

You are so true. Ross Atkins built a great team by having 0 playoff wins in his 8 years of window and having a bottom-five farm system this year.
