Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 Has Davis been struggling Buck or has he not been put in the lineup lol. He was hitless in like 2 games and benched for a week. Even though he also walked twice in those 2 games. But whatever. He was obviously struggling.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 Omg the return of Babe Schneider Amazing!
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 Yes Schneider ...force your playing time bud
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 Schneider hitting the ball in the air and over the fence again. That week off to learn the Blue Jay way didn’t work.
Captain_Obvious Verified Member Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 Babe Schneider. Our only power hitter.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 Seattle up 3-0 already. Seattle's gone. They are going to take the AL West or WC1. Were now focused on Tampa, Texas and Houston. It was very evident once Seattle passed the Jays they weren't going to behind them again.
Scion Verified Member Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Biggio makes one mistake and the board proceeds to s*** on him makes sense lol. That was a pretty significant defensive miscue and he compounded the error by overthrowing the cut off man leading to two runs.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Both Espinal and Biggio are the opposite of our run prevention strategy and if you are going to sacrafice that you need big hitters to hedge the s*** D. You would think playing Biggio at DH Schneider at 2B, KK at CF, Whit in LF, and Varsho in RF would have worked much better. All you lose is Espinals bat which doesn't matter really lol
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 That was a pretty significant defensive miscue and he compounded the error by overthrowing the cut off man leading to two runs. Leading to 1 run. The first run was scoring no matter what. It was a Triple. Like you can predict where the ball is going to bounce off the wall in the ballpark he's probably never played the OF in before lmao

Have you seen the board when Vlad makes a non HR AB? Did you expect something different for a terrible fielder and a below average hitter
Captain_Obvious Verified Member Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Have you seen the board when Vlad makes a non HR AB? Did you expect something different for a terrible fielder and a below average hitter Completely agreed. Terrible fielders and below average hitters like Vlad should be s*** on. Especially if they're fat.

Had a dog s*** April but so did half the team.

hanton Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 That's how you play the ball off the wall
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 That did not look like he hit that ball that well. But Jesus.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Leading to 1 run. The first run was scoring no matter what. It was a Triple. Like you can predict where the ball is going to bounce off the wall in the ballpark he's probably never played the OF in before lmao Guys like Varsho go out before the games in new parks and play pickle or throw the ball against the wall from all angles. The bounce could happen to anyone, but the throw can’t happen.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 That did not look like he hit that ball that well. But Jesus. Now THAT's a hitters ballpark Yikes
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 When Chapman goes to another team in the off-season and hits 35 Homeruns because a team tells him to go back to pulling the ball. People around here are gonna be so shook.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 I missed why the pulled Bassitt at 79 pitches?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 I missed why the pulled Bassitt at 79 pitches? Because our management team is a bunch of idiots.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Our defense has been killing us and our pitchers this series. With our offense we don’t have margins for error.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Espi with the wet noodle arm Buck didn’t mention that, but I noticed it on that play and the proceeding weeks.
