True. Well bud aside from 2021 we have seen 110,106,132 and 116 wRC+ in '23. Maybe. Doesn't explain the consistently high EVs though. Enigma.

Right now it looks like he is trying to find the timing to get back up the middle like he likes, but in the process he is letting fastballs get too deep and off on breaking balls at times. Crazy to think though, Vlad is still the youngest hitter on the team, still learning

I have to say, from a purely baseball perspective, these two Cleveland kids have been phenomenal.

 

Command of multiple pitches, keeping out of the middle of the plate, using the edges well, ESPECIALLY command at the top of the zone.

 

Two of the most enjoyable pitching performances I've seen this year.
