Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 25, 2023 Author Posted July 25, 2023 4th game in a row with a late lead blown by the pen
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Kirk called that exact spot!!
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 I was trying to make sure you are paying attention because for a poster who breaths baseball, you seem clueless about Martin and Moreno comparison. Auston is better off replacing your boy Daulton swinging that hockey stick than Barfsho swinging his bat. Dude, you didn't know who Martin was five minutes ago. Take the knee.

Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Just never works when you try to turn low leverage guys into high leverage guys randomly
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Muncy is a professional hitter Hasn't been hitting a heck of a whole lot this season, has the pop though.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Just never works when you try to turn low leverage guys into high leverage guys randomly 100%
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Kirk called that exact spot!! Richards literally hit the spot Kirk called for. You got to question the fatty's IQ man
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Hasn't been hitting a heck of a whole lot this season, has the pop though. oh I know, he's been in a funk but looks like he getting back to his old self. I follow the Dodgers quite closely
metafour Verified Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 it gets a little more complicated when analyzing catchers No, it really doesn't. His pitch-calling is also ass and does not grade well. He has a good arm behind the plate and so far he has shown a pool-noodle at the plate with next to no power. His lack of power actually started once he was promoted to AAA. He hit for a crappy .105 ISO in AAA despite batting .315. That has continued at the MLB level. He also doesn't walk much so unless he starts learning to drive the ball (his Statcast metrics are not promising) he will continue being a non-impact bat.
Blue Jays Lurker 2023 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Arizona's 83 wRC+ catcher? Thoughts aren't that great tbh. He is 23 but I am more in line of the possibility if they hang on to him and Gurriel as traceable assets this coming deadline. Now we have more holes to fill and still having to carry the disaster named Daulton Varsho
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Richards looks exhausted. He's worked a ton. Including a lot of extended outings. Might be catching up to him.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 25, 2023 Author Posted July 25, 2023 Richards had a fastball stuff+ of 48 last night...tonight might be worse. Teams will start sitting change, and it is very noticeable coming out of his hand tonight
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 I repeat, certain guys are low leverage for their entire careers for a reason...
Blue Jays Lurker 2023 Verified Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Dude, you didn't know who Martin was five minutes ago. Take the knee. Oh please… But to make you feel better for all of our sake, take the knee too for being stubborn on the disastrous Varsho trade
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Richards doesn't have it. Who is up in the pen?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 The silver fox is s***ing the bed.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Schneider WTF are you doing. You have nobody up?
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 25, 2023 Author Posted July 25, 2023 Richards doesn't have it. Who is up in the pen? No one
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 How the hell don't we have anyone warming up with how disastrous Richards has been? If that was a starter out there, we'd have 10 guys ready in this spot...
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Don't worry boys, Jay Jackson just started throwing with the bases now loaded...
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Why was Sportsnet showing the bases loaded before the walk…
Rafters Verified Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Richards doesn't have it. Who is up in the pen? Jackson just getting up now...not sure why it took so long
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 schneider sleeping on the job

He has a great arm and very athletic: pop times, framing and caught stealing numbers are viewable - if u need help let me know and I'll post it here.
