Im not quite convinced yet. they might just have the greatest advanced scouting system in the game by far... always seems like the hitters know exactly how they are going to be pitched and are ready for everything thrown their way.

And i dont mean sign stealing or pitch comm interception or stuff like that, just that maybe their video guys have built such a perfect way to scout opposing pitcher's tendencies to throw a certain pitch here, then a different one there, pitch sequencing predictions etc.

They're using AI to analyse opponents pitch sequence and location. Rest of the league hasn't caught up.

Another 3 hangers not even offered at that inning. Hard to beat a guy when you're not swinging at the heart of the plate offerings. I get that he's pretty good and has some deception but some of thesse meatballs need to be mashed.

I mean, it's not out of the realm of possibility. Humans all fall into patterns

Great play Raley. Kudos.

Bad job on Chappy for not swinging at that hanging curve. Recurring theme!

You'd think at some point someone will make an educated guess and not miss. We haven't done that enough.

It could just be as simple as the Jays thinking anything starting out high is a fastball and they’re giving up on it early, just to watch them plunk in, and not really trying to identify the pitch. He could be tunnelling so well off the fastball that his curve is really hard to pick up.

At least that’s what I’m going with right now since it gives credit to the ace rather than just assuming the Jays are horrible at pitch recognition.

Yeah.. I'm just saying instead of trying to identify out of his hand, sell out to a get me over breaking ball and don't miss.

How does Springer not even try and spoil it at least? That change up was a straight 88 belt high.

McClanahan is a wizard I guess.

Just too nasty after 97. Froze him up. Going through us like a buzz saw.
