He's better at getting on base than Espy, he's left handed and has a better chance of running into one.

It’s pretty simple actually. Biggio faces RHP and Espinal faces LHP. They have both sucked so far. It’s not that deep.

 

So if they both suck at the plate, but Espy has better defense and had an all star first half last year compared to Biggios crap year. Does the lefty-righty matchups really warrant putting him in over and over?

Ok so Espinal is actually statistically way worse vs RHP. And this career numbers not small sample size number. Biggio is also more than fine at Second Base. He doesn’t hurt the Jays at all. If this was Third Base it would be a different question.

LOL do you really think being an all-star means something? He was selected as an all-star because a lot of Jays fans voted for him regardless of his stat.

It’s crazy we are 10-6 because the pitching has been mostly awful and the offense could be way better. Things should get much better. Just 2 really bad games in a row.
