gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 It's frightening that we have Varsho batting cleanup. Yup.. Varsho is a 6-7 hitter clearly.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Yup.. Varsho is a 6-7 hitter clearly. Clearly, based on the 4 games you’ve seen him play in your life.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 I love when I see bad takes get thanked, it's comical how they relate.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Man this is a s*** start to the season but the only legit concern is Berrios. Large sample size of terrible
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Clearly, based on the 4 games you’ve seen him play in your life. Numbers don't lie f*** wad.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Clearly, based on the 4 games you’ve seen him play in your life. lol
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Numbers don't lie f*** wad. Enlighten me on which numbers you’re using to make this claim.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Lmfao these hitters nuked berrios??!
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 It's frightening that we have Varsho batting cleanup. Big step down from Teo. I like Varsho. He hit that pretty well, but don't see his bat as a realistic 4 option. Rather see Belt there if he can get it going.
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Varsho has never been a good hitter in his career. I don't get why this guy is batting 4th. His wRC+ was only 106 last year.

I don’t think he should bat cleanup against southpaws, but it’s really not an indefensible decision to have him cleanup against right handers.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Enlighten me on which numbers you’re using to make this claim. f*** off please. Don't be a f***ing clown.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Phillies have been getting destroyed.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 And that's with a couple of them missing because of my ignore list... LOL (they don't see this thread) Time to hop back on my desktop and put a few more on the IL
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 f*** off please. Don't be a f***ing clown. Really proving your point there.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Clearly, based on the 4 games you’ve seen him play in your life. Loll dkm. Accurate though
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 f*** off please. Don't be a f***ing clown. That was a legit question, man?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Nice bounce back for Pop. He felt the Snap and crackle in that inning.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Really proving your point there. Go check his numbers for yourself.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 That was a legit question, man? Let's not pretend that all of us aren't aware of Varsho's career stats. Power is his only pre-requisite
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 f*** off please. Don't be a f***ing clown. Pot, meet kettle
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Even Jamie Campbell is sick of Berrios s***. He loves everybody.

I don’t think he should bat cleanup against southpaws, but it’s really not an indefensible decision to have him cleanup against right handers. Agree. I'm just getting used to no Teo. Zips has Varsho projected at 131 wRC+. All over that!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Good stuff from Pop, mammoth homer aside. With that said he simply has to be sent down for a reliever from AAA, we need fresh arms and he’s already put up far too many innings this early into the season.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Agree. I'm just getting used to no Teo. Zips has Varsho projected at 131 wRC+. All over that! Teo isn’t exactly lighting it up for Seattle at the moment lol. At least when Varsho is struggling at the plate he provides top tier defense.
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 LOL If you think a career 100 wRC+ batter is a decent cleanup, you must be a clown.
